on the prarie

"d- this top called to me. we were in tavin boutique 

talking to erin and i kept over at it. 

the paillettes are the perfect size,

giving a stronger dimension than sequins. 

& the weight of the skirt brings a richness all its own. 

i added my boyfriend's hat, lani's belt, 

& my shoes and ring. 

this is my interpretation of being on the prarie. 

b- while dani was drooling over tavin's gold top, 

i was staring at a bold fringe necklace in the corner.  

once i got it in my hands, i knew i wanted it to 

inspire my whole look.  next i reached for this 

beautiful blue leather pencil skirt and a more 

subtle gold turtleneck. then we headed out to 

griffith park for a sunny sunday stroll."
