One of my favorite shops for vintage in Los Angeles is Tavin in Echo Park. 

Erin has a great eye, and I really enjoy her choices: her racks are stocked with Victorian dresses, 

ethnic bohemian styles (lots of gauzy Indian numbers, peasant blouses, Afghani dresses), 

and occasional designer pieces (recently spotted: a Sonia Rykiel sweaterdress, a Dosa kurta, 

a Missoni faux fur jacket, an Yves St. Laurent sack dress).  

Hers is the one shop where I always find something I love. "
